Looking to get my deer made into a European mount. Not the biggest buck around, but the biggest I've taken with a bow, so want to make it memorable. I live in the Fargo area. Any recommendations? Cost for a European mount? Thanks.

There used to be a guy there named Dave that did Euro's on deer for $45. Lost his contact info when I moved unfortunately. He had simple flyers hung up at Sportsman's Warehouse and Gander I think.

Aber taxidermy does good work. Most guys around fargo should be able to handle that. I have never brought one in to have done always done them myself.

aber taxidermy charges ~$100 for a euro. he does a great job in everything he does. I've done 2 myself. will gladly pay to never do it again.

also, last time I had him do a euro for me it was around a month turn around time. this was a deer head cut off, skin still on. maybe price varies if you skin it...

Thanks Wags. I'll gladly pay $100 at this point. Too many other things going on right now to try and figure out how to do it myself when I've never done it before (moving soon, hockey for my boys, etc). I have the head sitting in the freezer right now. Didn't skin it. I will call there and ask a few questions.

I checked around on a euro for a deer couple years ago and $100 seems on par with most places for a simple non pedestal type mount. I ended up doing it myself and will now pay $100 to have someone else deal with it next time.
