Actually, the moose saw the Glock and his heart just quit ticking right then and there.

I thought seeing his glock is what brought that poor confused moose in.

Last fall bowhunting, I snuck in on a cow in some stunted corn that was about chest high. Not knowing if she had a calf or not and being several hundred yards from any protective cover is a hell of a rush. I effed up the sneak but still will be one I'll always remember. Turns out there was a calf and a year old calf laying in the taller corn that busted out when I f'ed up. I thought I could see her ears and grunted to get her to stand up. When she did get up she was to my left and farther out from what I thought. I was pretty much in between her and the two young ones but she bolted the right direction. The other two ran by me within a few yards.
