So I went to mow my ditches on Sunday. I made the first pass on my short ditch turned around and made it to the end of the second pass. Popped out of the ditch and my PTO shaft weld busted loose. There is no repairing it so I went to fleet farm and picked up a new shaft (1 side). Was going to pop the u joint and put the new shaft on. I got the u joint apart and found the bearing is too large for the mower deck holes, but it is right for the shaft. It was the only shaft they had, does anyone know if they make an "adapter" bearing?

They do make u-joints with 2 different sized caps, even Napa carries them if not go to Catco or a similar truck repair store that does driveline repairs and they should have what you need.

Finally got all the right parts. Weasley size 14 yoke, bearing and ended up needing the other shaft. Si I replaced the whole damn works. Come to find out 14 is used for 25 to 30hp tractors. I am running a 45..... up for sale is a 5ft rough mower with a new pto shaft. Have 225 into the the pto. Asking 500.
