Traditions Nitrofire

A buddy of mine drew a muzzleloader tag so I am going to borrow my inline muzzleloader to him. I was showing him what the bullets and pellets look like and came across the Traditions Nitrofire with the firesticks. What a game changer for muzzleloaders.

Didn’t DB buy one only to later find out that they aren’t legal in ND for muzzleloader season?

Muzzleloader Season – Muzzleloading long guns of .45 caliber or larger, and handguns .50 caliber or larger, having all components loaded through the muzzle, with flint or percussion ignition, firing black powder or black powder substitutes are legal. Smokeless powders are not legal. Telescopic sights are prohibited. Exception: no magnification (1X) scopes are legal for Muzzleloader season.


Looks like it would, indeed, be illegal to use since all components are not loaded through the muzzle.
