That's what I was thinking as well. Quickest way to explain the lack of a weapon. Mind you if he is truly on the blood trail of a deer there is good odds that same deer should have triggered the camera too.

Its very very unlikely, its tracking... I know the neighbors and he'd haft be tracking for several miles. also he came back and took the camera....' camera is now gone. I don't have Facebook or anything like that but anyone who would like to pass on the picture, feel free..

I can't stand people like this. Had the same problems last year, and I decided not to put cameras out this year. Really ruined it for me. Can you give anymore details on the location? I hunt a lot of property near Mandan, so I'll be sure to keep my eyes open.

If the guys is tracking an animal I have no problem with it. But them guy running around stealing shit is what I can't stand. I had a coyote and a snare dissappear yesterday. Unless the yote had fingers and a pair of pliers it wouldn't of been able to unscrew the quick connect from the extension. Hope the snow we get tonight sticks around makes it easier to keep track if other people are walking about the property when your not there.

Hope you catch him and can prosecute! Will be hard for theft of property unless you have camera up high aimed at your game cam and catch them taking it that way. I know a guy that did catch a thief/trespasser that way, that stole his gamecam.

It is legal to cross posted land, without your gun in the retrieval of injured or downed game. This guy may be a thieving jerk, but just because you have him in a game cam, walking unarmed, smoking a dagger, and not in any type of criminal act, really proves very little.

I once took a leak while hunting my farm buddies tree rows, turns out another friend of his had a game cam already set up pointed right at where I was pissing, so I shook my wiener at the camera, figured I might as well have a little fun with it. hahah

What's suspect? I've talked to and know the neighbors... Very long ways for someone to track. Was having problems with people trespassing, neighbor got pic of this guy and got a call of truck on my stuff where it's not suppose to be. Next day camera goes missing...I don't get the scooby doo. Cuz u don't see him with a weapon? Not buying that one but innocent till proven guilty. Looks like he realized he better go back for the camera now don't it? I know the land n neighbors, this ain't secondhand info....

Well,sounds like its time for you guyz to change things up,take a looksey@ the "covert" trail cams,great tool in real time pics to your phone if you have Verizon or at&t service,just a thought.
