A report said that the driver thought it was an open field and he was lost and going to turn around. Now how high on meth do you gotta be to think that is an open field??

DUNN COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) - No one was hurt when a commercial truck fell through the ice near Skunk Bay Sunday morning, according to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office.
A corporal with the department said the truck driver got lost and tried to turn around in what they thought was a field. Instead, the truck broke through the ice.
It’s not known if any material leaked from the vehicle at this time. The incident is under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office and the Three Affiliated Tribes, and the Army Corps of Engineers may be involved as well.
The sheriff’s office could not release the name of the company involved in the incident at this time.

How do you drive a truck into a recreational area, past buildings, trailers and cabins. Eventually coming to the bottom.....yet to think the ice was a field....WOW. My guess is this operator was pretty new to the area and the trucking industry...and my guess is this driver is now "unemployed". I heard the company name...and I am not surprised by this.

…and my guess is he needed to change into a new pair of pants shortly after the incident.

I saw where a couple other people chime in to a discussion and said their GPS units has led them to dead end areas like that in the past .
