Had it on my dvr. Just watched it finally. Obviously knew the result. But, it was still sweet!

That was just an awesome move. Can't believe for how well they both played a Lamoureux wasn't out there for the shootout before round 6, however. I just couldn't figure that one out, I was yelling at the TV.

I'm sure that goal and her sister scoring the tying goal will get them both a little cash for endorsements.

I thought it was pretty odd too. Especially since the third shooter was a defender. I don't know anything about her but seemed like an odd choice. Watch the replay, no crazy stick handling, no dekes, just skated straight at the net and put a slow backhand right into the body. C'mon!!??

It could have so easily went the other way.

Same here, I was trying to be bias with the play and the players as the game went on but couldn't keep my composure when it got to the late power play . Both of the Lamoureux girls did have a bad shift or two compared to what they can usually get done out there but I wasn't the only one that sensed a little tension between the coach and the twins. Rather than pairing them up on the late power play he pretty much short shifted them one at a time. When he did let one out late in the power play the frustration was obvious when she followed through on a not so good penalty that could have easily been avoided. Anyway it all worked out in the end, That's all that matters.

I'd bet some of the Canadians are still crying. One player took her silver medal off right away at the award ceremony, I thought that was classless. I watched the twins play at the Ralph many years ago and it was hard to watch, I wasn't impressed with women's hockey at all it was like watching men play in slow motion, Not so much any more. Over the years Women's hockey has gotten so much faster and skill level is so much better.
