What’s a good weather app? Weather channel keeps locking up on me.

A thread from 2022 had the windy app as a good one. Is it worth the money?

Free version of the windy app is great. It also has radar.

Hourly forecast chart on weather.gov is a very useful browser bookmark. https://forecast.weather.gov/MapCli...100.7831&unit=0&lg=english&FcstType=graphical

Also have the GFS loop on weatherstreet bookmarked. It gives an idea of larger system timing and extent including barometric pressure.

I use ventusky or something like that on computer .I'm on phone now and every time I use it the weather app turns on and updates. Just learning this smartphone jazz and wondering if weather app uses much data since I don't have unlimited ? I unintentionally used 2 gb through apps thinking weather app might be the culprit but can't find the settings on this DUMB phone. Guess who m gonna have to break down and learn. I hate the thought of being tethered to a phone.
