Hey fellas, got up this morning and the radar for ND looks nasty. However, radar can make things look worse or better than they are. We have freezing rain here in Valley City and I can't even walk on my deck. Driving may be treacherous already. Just trying to give folks a heads up if you have to be out there today. Be safe out there folks!! This one could get angry.

Temps are dropping and the rain is has now turned to sleet in Grand Forks. Sounds like it'll be turning to snow and blowing like an SOB soon.

Started out a little sloppy at 5:00am at 30 degrees. It's 27 now and snowing. I went to Pipestem to watch for a coyote, but visibility was about 700 yards when it got light enough to see, and 500 yards when I left. The rangefinders would only to 158 yards and 200 yards. Sig and a Swaro. Gave it up, and went home. To wet to get out of the vehicle and the windshield wipers were about as big as softball bats. Had to get out and clean them every 15 minutes. Would have just give up and gone home, but thought I should finish my coffee first. Nice to just sit and look out even with restricted visibility.

About an inch of hard crusty stuff on the ground right now.

We have about a 1/4 inch of ice on the roads now and it just changed over to snow. Roads are going to suck today. There went the remaining pheasant population with this ice storm.

I HATE ice almost as much as wind. Wind is still the worst IMO, because with enough wind, and just even a little snow, you can't see. When you can't see, you can't go. Ice is the devil when it comes to ND's wild animal survival.

Just came off the snare line. We now have ice balls, snow, sleet, and a good 20+ mph wind. It pretty much sucks out there right now. Iced up snares, eyeballs getting pelted with ice, wet from my armpits to my ankles, I LOVE IT!!! LOL!! Roads are pure crap out here right now. I took the quad on the line and even that was fishtailing and stopping was entertaining even on the gravel. REALLY be safe out there folks!! This weather is no joke.

I bagged the lawn one final time on Saturday here in Omaha in my T-SHIRT...sunny and 60 degrees. Quite a change from December in ND, but I'm looking forward to a couple weeks back over Christmas. Stay safe with the bad weather today!

Got less than an inch of snow here. Wind is picking up a bit. Sun is peeking out once in awhile. You guys that are getting that crap mentioned above be careful and safe. Please keep that shit over there as we can do just fine without it. ;:;boozernybs I ran the mower over the lawn to suck up the leaves, and put up Christmas stuff on Friday in a short sleeved tee-shirt also.

The ICKY has just started. School cancelled, busses out at 12.30. Wife called and her boss sent everyone home at 12.00 from Hankinson.
