I have a little insight, but only from what I've read and heard. The sacred stone camp is on the south side of the Cball river, and to access it you have to drive in to town and back north and then down the valley. You can't see much of it from the HWY 1806. They are pretty strict of who they let into that camp, as tribal law enforcement can operated there since its within the boarders of the rez. I believe its still on CORPS land or most of it is. I've heard that they turned people away, that contributed to the million dollar go-fund-me account. LOL they sent them to the north camp. This is the camp LaDonna Allard is kind of in charge of, since her name is on the allotments (her and God know how many other names). There was a Tribune article about how the guy (Jack Thomas I think) leasing the land is pizzed at the camp cutting his fences, stealing his cattle. She claims she didn't 'cash her lease check', but couldn't answer if all her other family members cashed theirs or not. Of course when you have almost a million in a go-fund-me account a $35 (guessing, could be $1000??) lease check is nothing.
