Just heard this morning on ABC news @7:25 that ND has put out an order that you "cannot" take motor vehicles off maintained roads thru Dec 1.
Is that going to be putting praire roads in that category? That would certainly suck for pheasant and deer season as some PLOT and WPA parcels, that is only access.
Is this only pertaining to out west where the fire bans are in place already ? Haven't found clarification yet.

Did find map under ndresponse.gov ,has some roads listed under specific counties.

I for one know how easily a grass fire can start from hot exhaust. Late 70's was driving buddies Jeep down prairie road a little after dusk. Road ahead had a tree down across so had to turn around on very narrow road ( about 3/4 mile to back out), and got to far down the ditch and got hung up. About 3 mins trying to get out was all it took, and ignited the grass. Jeep was a goner, could hear tires exploding as was running to nearest farm to call 911 ( pre cell phone days). One of the most horrific days of my life.
