Who went fishing in the slop saturday?

Being it was pretty nice, who went out in the slop? Had archery tournmenat to tend to so didn't go out.

Not I. I spent the last two days in the bucket of a front end loader pulling wet sloppy snow off the roofs of a neighbors quonset buildings. My shoulders and back don't like me today and probably won't like me tomorrow either.

Thats the price you you pay for being a nice neighbor. Crusted over real nice here, Lab has the whole yard to walk on again cause she don't sink in. Hardly leaves a foot print anymore.

There are a few largemouth bass swimming around Nelson lake, with sore lips.

Tried Grano Saturday for about 7 hours with the kids and a buddy. Slow fishing and no real size. Ice was slicker than shit with all that water on top. Also on the way home hit a deer with the truck so all in all a complete day.

Put a limit of eyes on the ice before the wind came in . Lots of of guys out in the hook for the tourney. It was a beautiful morning.
