I do get excited about a nice fish. I'm 46 yrs old, and have been fishing for probably 40. I guess I try not to be blasé about it. I don't apply for every catch and release patch, or whopper club patch, but I don't denigrate those who do.

Your only 46? Those night time pics must add about 10 years cause I thought you looked mid 50s at least.

Haha Classic.

I too am 46, and make my wife look like a teenager in family pictures, she is only 2 yrs younger in reality.

Yeah, what's up with 3lb whopper smallies? Those things are easier to catch than three pound walleyes. Definitely needs to be four pounds.

Go to 40 and make it something to be proud of.

i guess it's all ok, but at what cost... we prolly employ 2-3 people at the g&f to keep these stats updated, and reported, and released, and reviewed, and researching to make sure we're keeping up with neighboring states... at prolly 50-90k per person, (with bennies), for life... i sure hope we are getting enough good feelings out of this to pay for it...

not trying to be a richard, but i'm bout over paying taxes for all this stuff...

Holy shit no wonder all those deer license need to be sold to pay salaries that high. Game wardens don't even make that here. One of the reasons I quit wildlife management I'm school money in it.
