OK guys I have some Paddlefish questions.

I had never even seen or heard of one until a couple of weeks ago.

So far I haven't seen anyone talking about eating one (feel free to laugh your ass off) or even cooking one. So can/do you guys eat these or?

What do you catch them on? I'm gonna guess they pretty much stay in one spot or swim real s l o w.

I like them smoked never had them another way. They are very oily. U fish them with a big ass treble hook and a 5oz weight and yank it threw the water till u hit a fish.

Yep I have caught 18 in the last 12 year with catch and release days. I've only had one year I have not gotten lucky and got one. We have a girl in our group that works her ass of and hasn't got one this was her 4th year.

Ya. That's my wife....f'n bs. But hey what do ya do?! I think she has worked harder than a lot of us outta the group to not get hooked up on a fish! Maybe next year.
