Winter with NO END

Ice just came off Oahe a couple weeks ago, and since then the weather has been pure S.H.I.T!!

Can't complain about Dec. and Jan. Jan was a little cold but not too bad ND standards. Then Feb hit. at the end of it I was like that sucked. Then the end of March came and I said, that really sucked, hopefully April will get fishing. Now at the end of April .....Well that sucked too....really sucked. I got the boat out once for a test run mainly last Sat in the mist and cold. Motors ran great, and it felt really good running it, even if the weather was crap. I had some trailer issues so I couldn't pull boat north until the drift melted in front of it to get it fixed. Its all ready to go as of last Thursday. If not for the shitton of snow in front of it I'd of had it done in March!

Now It's MAY 1st, and in a few weeks It'll be hot. Every year my goal is to get out more in the spring (March and April)

Yeah years like this I really question my love for this area. I’m a fricken crab ass and have been for several months. Even if may gets warm, the f’n wind blows 30 mph 2 of 3 days.

Yeah I hope the wind don't blow too bad but now that I have a 620 Ranger...Should be able to get out more on those days. Might have to launch at PKC though as the ramp in Yates is right in the wind. I'm by myself most of the time so I have to tie up to something to back down.
