All I got to say is hunting public land is a treat. I've been doing it for years. you see all kinds of s**t. Most of the time you can use Joe stupid A** to help you get deer you know there coming and if you get there early it works to your advantage. i phone 054.jpghe helped me get this one in 2014 . of course they F**k up more then they help with.

Private property I'm totally with you guys. But I'm sorry, if someone hangs a stand on public property, tough beans. You're not supposed to leave those things out over night anyway.

I don't personally care for tree stands, so I'm not one to shanghai one on public property. But if it's a good funnel, you can darn well bet I'll sit beneath it if the owner hasn't arrive yet.

Public is public. First come, first serve. I had a kid get a bit grouchy with me last year because I sat in a spot that I'd sat in for nearly 10 years. He came down at 11:45 on opening day to ask me why I was in his spot, then he proceeded to point out the trail camera 40 yards away pointed at me. Apparently that made the whole area his.

I laughed at him. Told him good luck with that.

yea, Duck on public land you can leave them there until the end of deer hunting but after that time must be removed. I'm thinking in the proclamation it says the date of Jan. 31st. I use a hanging stand with a bracket that stays in the tree I usually hang the stand the afternoon sit in it the night of and the next morning then I pull it and move to another spot. deer pattern hunters as much as we pattern them. I've been doing this for O 30 years holy sh*T I feel old now.

I would never have guessed in a million years that woodpeckers take out trail cameras.
