Just a friendly reminder that you can hunt with a muzzleloader every year if you want. Use it on your regular season buck tag or buy extra doe tags for it during regular season.

True . However the fact that some units even have doe tags available is just baffling . After a horrendous winter I’d think doe harvest would be very limited or non existent…

At this point I'm applying purely out of spite and frustration if and when I ever draw my 1st muzzy tag I will never apply for that shitshow again.

I have applied every year since I was old enough and have yet to draw one

I stopped putting in after 8 years. Not worth it for me. I will also be done putting in for antelope once I finally draw one of those.

I drew a 3a3 buck with 1 preference point, daughter and son got 0 this year.

I also drew a SD West River special buck tag this fall.

Daughter has 8 points for muzzy and I have 10.

However I am not a quitter though, so I will keep applying.

I now have 15 points for muzzy. Gun might have rusted away by now if not for stainless steel and fiberglass stock. LB
