You should be able to find a few small tributaries that flow into Sakakawea full of aggressive pike in the spring. They are fun on a fly.

Welcome to the nuthouse.

I see folks fly fishing in Fish Creek dam all the time, its about 70 miles east of Dix and 10 miles south of I-94 but maybe worth a shot.

How do you feel about docked dog tails?

the newb has never been sacked by an out of control tail so I can't imagine she has the proper knowledge base to render a proper opinion

or maybe she has been? never know these days

Welcome to the site. You'll get both funny and knowledgeable comments from most.... and I mean most.

By the way, do you fish/hunt with anyone that lives in Wisconsin?

A girl on an outdoors site...This should go about 10 pages in no time!!

For fly-fishing, pike are probably the easiest target in ND as they are in every damn lake. There are some good stocked trout lakes around central and western ND as well. And yes smallmouth are available to. Personally i skip the walleye when it comes to fly fishing, I catch enough of them on spinning gear. When i'm fly fishing i want it to be on the surface for the most part.

PS: i'm not convinced this isn't a guy posing as a girl to get better info....:)

Welcome to the site. What are your opinions on marijuana, abortion, farmers posting land, and slot limits?

Haha.. I promise I'm not a troll.. I'm just a chick who wants to meet some people to possibly fish and shoot shit with... I'm not into the bar scene so it's not easy to meet people when you work a lot and avoid people lol
