He does it on whitetail to. There's more ways to hunt than pushing deer and shooting them.in the ass

I guess he does it with a bow that's what makes killing mule deer easy.......

Bow hunters> Gun hunter

enlighten us " rifle snobs" on why we should cater to the bowhunter??? I'm real freaking curious

should we cater to the 12ft jon boat with less than a 40hp motor for spring walleye fishing cuz god knows its okay from bowhunters, fisherman, and everyone else to embrace technology and use it at there disposal but a rifle snob is "cheating"

FWIW I think the system is fine I could give to shits if joe blow is lucky enough to draw a rifle, muzzy and buy the bow tag. I "choose" not to bowhunt and only rifle hunt every 5-6 years. it my choice I live with it.

what big game surveys? I have heard of these mystical surveys but haven’t seen one in about 25 years. That one was a survey on the deer I saw during rifle season.

Got mine in the mail a couple days ago , One page, 8 questions. Can't say for sure that I get them every year but most years I do. Like I said , I don't have a lot of faith in survey results.

Lincoln, kinda...
I must be lucky, I get surveys (yes, plural) every year for pretty much every species I hunt.

Don't worry guys, I fill them out accurately.

So caption this pic, not sure where it was taking but I came across it, seen a few more that had alot more deer in the pic than this....
Does it define 'party' hunting....yup...14 deer to 7 guys and one guy could have shot all of them for all we know. but back in that day, they had no 'laws' in place for taking wildlife.

I have to say - I read Facebook comments and think to myself "how the hell did we ever become a united country at any point with the extreme variation in how people feel about stuff that used to be common sense".

then I read this thread and get the same feeling

Social media has and will contribute way more to dividing us then it ever will bring us together.

makes one wonder if they are sending them to the same folks all the time. Which isn't the greatest way to build statistical data.

This type of picture could have easily been replicated back in the early 2000's

Yea, I have no clue. I thought everyone was getting them . I used to fill them out but haven't now for a few years because of my lack of trust in them.

Again I am not advocating closing it, I think the original op was just looking to stir the pot.

Maybe I am sitting it up wrong but have a total of 8 sites and four of them are food plots.
Yes the deer are wondering during the rut. Rifle hunters drive around looking for them.
I sit in a permanent stand waiting for them to come to me.

Same here and back when we could have a few doe license too I posted a picture of myself with four rifles. I thought only liberals got emotional. Some people said it must sound like a war when a deer goes past you. I don't know about them, but I can only shoot one gun at a time. Some people sure are stupid.
