looking for ways to mount long guns "standing up" off the floor on the wall (for cabin-type decor)

anybody know of a good design/model? Pics?

not looking for "bulk" mounts like 6 or 8 guns that take up a lot of space but more along the line of singles, doubles, triples - so they can be tucked here/there into spaces between furniture, etc. along the wall

Just for giggles and on account of cabin fever boredom, I googled vertical wall mount gun racks and came up with quite a few. Never seen one and not a bad idea.

I don't have any pics, but I was in a cabin where they used small basket rack type antlers to hold guns on the walls. The bottom antler had tines arranged so the butt of the rifle was secured nicely and the top antler held the barrel between the tines. I thought it was a very unique way to use those smaller sheds a guy finds here and there.

Ya. But, who shoots basket racks. Strictly booners for this guy. ;)

Didn't see anybody mention shooting basket racks.

I'vs shot a lot of basket racks in my lifetime. Grew up in the time when you didn't have a lot of choice. If you didn't shoot the first buck you saw you might not see another. Back when I was just starting to hunt and for several years after it was rare to even hear about a buck that today would score over the 140 range.

It was a joke. I've never shot a really buck. Summer can't come fast enough.

What is a "really buck"? can you get a gratis tag for them? do they come to large bait piles? does anyone raise them in a HFH operation?

Hahahaha! Really bucks....

I'm no help with verticle gun racks. BUT, today I happened to be at a customer's house and he had a sweet horizontal gun rack he custom made with black iron. Used tees, 90s , and pipe and it looked good to me.

I've shot so many basket rack bucks I can't hardly stand myself. It all depends on how hungry I am when them "Butterball Bucks" waltz by. If I didn't have a good breakfast, them boys are in trouble. (Grin) Besides, I've tried frying, baking, broiling, marinading, sauteing, as well as boiling and slabadaba ding dong then damn antlers STILL come out crunchy.
