Nah, I don't like many people in this town. Being in crowds in 90 degrees is not my idea of a good time anyway

I was thinking you were going to be almost tired of brisket by the time you got rid of that. Glad to here it's a neighborhood party.

The last time I made brisket, we had almost zero leftovers😂 This will at least be eaten by like 10 people. Doing mac salad, potato salad, smoked wings. Hot dogs. Someone's doing wings and watermelon. Another's doing wings, dogs and whatever. Someone's doing dessert. My kids are the oldest of the group so they'll be a bunch of little ones to watch over and feed.

Maple Valley lockers in Enderlin do all my butchering. Now that they stopped doing wild game, Deer, Elk and Moose I go to Hecla S.D.
You should be cutting that up yourself anyway

Yep, I could be. I have eaten lots of sausage from people who thought there sausage was so good. And not one time have I said dang I would pay money for this sausage. That's why I have a butcher shop that I trust make my sausage. So half way thru the year I'm not sick of it and don't eat it anymore.

I take my meat boned out and in gallon zip lock bags. I cut everything up myself. Just don't make my own sausage.

Ok, so I'm on a coleslaw and BBQ kick I guess. Nachos last night with "hint of lime" chips, cheese, Kinders Honey BBQ wings sauce, and coleslaw to finish it off. Top ten!

Tonight, cheese burgers on the grill (with a little color in the middle, not hockey pucks), seasoned with Kinders Prime Burger seasoning. Accompanied by mayo, honey BBQ, Grillo's dill pickles, and COLESLAW! Also top ten!

Shitty sausage that leaves u wanting to lick ur own butthole after reminds me of a very young me cooking "experimenting" with birds, venison, burgers etc on the grill.. Talk about absolute shit burnt; dried out food before I actually learned the ropes in time/life. Wouldn't have fed that charcoaled inedible shit to the dog today.
gotta start somewhere but I'd like to sincerely apologize to those I grilled for back in my middle/high school days 🤣

only ever lit the grill with the hood down once. Think we could use a dedicated thread to shit we "learned the hard way" growing up..

I rendered the fat from the brisket trimming. Now it's my spray down.

Shotgun shells ready for tomorrow's smoker. Why can't I attach a picture and add a comment on the same post. Grrrr! Thinking I need to add the comment and then attach the photo.
