Made a couple new pizzas tonight. Marinated artichoke heart, sun dried tomato, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, spinach with feta and mozzarella.

Took my new garden fresh taters and gave them a good wash, cut into bite size pieces, put into zip lock bag and added some olive oil and shook to coat, added some ranch dressing powder and shook again to coat. Got two cookie pans and layed in some parchment paper and divided out the potatoes. Preheated oven to 350 and put pans in top and bottom for 1/2 hour then reversed the pans for another 20 min. Cut up a med onion and a can of sliced mushrooms, cooked until onions were done then threw it all together in one big pan on medium heat for 10 min, plated and stuffed myself. LB

Salmon on the smoker, seasoned with Meat Church Texas Sugar and glazed with a light coat of Big Wicks Prickly Pear Pepper Jelly. First batch of garden potatoes, Meat Church Blanco (kind of a SPGO rub) and lots of butter

Damn that looks good! Only thing missing is a grilled garlic toast and possibly a side salad for some green. 😋

Anything on an open fire tastes better to me , Gas grill is handy and provides consistent heat but briquettes and wood are hard to beat for taste. Best of both worlds for me is to plan ahead and cook on the electric smoker. Load it up and forget about it for a few hours.

Smoked burgers tonight. 10/10 will do again.

They are good but my favorite burger is still off a flat top or cast iron pan. Gotta have that crust!

When I’m feeling saucy I’ll smoke them on a really low temp for a half an hour or so and then finish them in cast iron. Win, win.

Yeah I cranked it up to 400 and grilled them afterwards. No one likes a squishy burger lol
