Been a very slow rise, +- a tenth a day. I am highly doubting my original guess of 1840. seems that 1836 might even be a stretch.

Just wondering if the corp is still expecting to get to 31 this year? For some reason the site has not updated the lake level since April 19th I believe it is. I have always used it for current and past levels. Am I missing something? What say you Allen?

Here are the links (2) to ACOE web pages:
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers: Missouri River Basin, Water Management Division

Missouri Basin Runoff Forecast Information

And here is the May Forecast, use the Basic conditions...aka I look at it as Average...Lower Basic -- below average and Upper Basic -- above average. Lots of information on the web pages. For your answer, no we will not break 1831, and I say if we get to 1830.3 like the forecast says at the end of July, we will be lucky for Sakakawea. Oahe is really going to get it and by the end of Oct forecast to be down some 6.5 feet!

Sakakawea's elevation is still coming into the NWS website. As far as it getting to 1831? I'm not so sure about that. Given that it's a management decision as much as it is a product of a very fickle Mother Nature, your guess is as good as mine.
