380 videos

As of lately I am thinking of purchase another 380. I am passing one to middle daughter. So I have watched some YouTube videos. I don't understand when some of these clowns get one and play their games with it they just go to the range and start shooting off hand. If you get a pistol new out of the box why wouldn't you shoot it from a rest???
To see.
1) are the sights on and 2) does it have a decent group.

Looking at the Sig 365 or the new Ruger Security
Please let me know your thoughts. THX!

I’m a walking shooting rest.

I preferred the Sig365 over the Glock 380 (whatever model that is).

Super fun to shoot while running toward the target (practicing closing the distance on my assailant)

Rest your hands or the trigger guard/yoke on sand bags. NEVER THE BARREL.

Zog I have a P365 X for my every day carry. Trigger pull is one of the most important things for me. I have had 380 and 9mm in various Rugers and Smiths and the Sig has by far the best trigger pull. I went from the P365 to the P365 X so I coukd use a red dot sight. I kept that sight on for a few months then ditched it. I am on target much faster with open sights and out to 20 yards all I need to see is my front sight.
Edit: The 365 is much more concealable than the 365X.

PG we have been in Kingman AZ for about 7 weeks. There are a couple of first class gun shops here (not selling $300 tennis shoes or $200 polo shirts). The guys and gals know guns! Anyway you get to handle the pistols as much as you want. What I was really impressed with the Sig was the trigger and the sights. He knew I would probably back in ND but still spent time with me. Told me if to try a few of the same gun as each one's trigger would be a little different

Watched a couple of videos. Looks like a sweet pistol. The back-strap safety is not for me though.

Can those soft springs handle a steady diet of +P's? If not I don't think it's a detriment. IMO it's a "crescent wrench" gun meant solely for utility and collecting dust in an evidence locker.
