^^^^Saw Hootie And The Blowfish do this tune in Saudi Arabia. They played the original jam at the end. I was on duty and stood right behind their drummer and percussionist. They KILLED it!! I told them so as I was getting their autographs on a CD. They seemed genuinely appreciative of my critique and surprised I wanted their signatures along with Darius and the rest of the band; as they were seated sort of in the background.

My exact words were: "Damn!! You guys freakn' KILLED IT on "Black Magic Woman!!" They asked if I played drums and seemed amused when I said "In a former version of me". Cool memory.
