Maybe he could take some time to learn the intricacies and speed of the game instead of drawing eye black on his whole face

I agree. You could have let him learn longer. You could have played him in preseason and see the faster paced game in smaller doses. You could dumb down the playbook and go from there……or this I suppose

Yea because no rookie qb's have growing pains or struggle EVER... When did Colin howerd join NDA? Ya take the goods and the bads and you chalk it up to growth but guess love has been absolutely perfect since his rookie debut

Nope he hasn’t been. They don’t ask him to do to much either. I’d say he’s a mid tier qb. He looks great at times and looks mediocre or even bad at times. He’s ok in their system though. By all means keep this up maybe the vikes can turn him into someone else’s Baker Mayfield. The teams who don’t throw their rookies to the wolves immediately seem to have better luck turning them into NFL qbs

Far cry from 2024 start,couldn't/didn't watch the game after the first few minutes,looked like B squad players,ugh,gonna be a long painful season.

It's just a learning experience which is good.. Don't get too high or too down, it's a long season as most of us longtime fans know this. A young amazing HC with a qb still in diapers, dont expect the world and roll with the punches fellas. SKOL!

Agreed on the eye black, needs to go. Makes him look like a little league player.
Little to no protection last night with a couple backups. They're gonna be in trouble if they play a good team, hopefully things turn around.

The game last night was a classic trenches game, won on BOTH sides of the ball by Atlanta. They ran all over the Vikes and the Vikes struggled with 3rd and very short multiple times. Pass protection was dismal and they couldn't block to run the ball either.
