When I lived in Bismarck we used to fish down there all the time. I really miss that place. I’m too old now to make that trip from eastern ND. I have a place in MN, but nothing compares to Missouri River fishing.

I might give it a shot Saturday. Launch out of Walth Bay. I heard the ice fishing down there was awful all winter due to the high amounts of bait fish.

Seen some pics from down there yesterday and they got them pretty good fish looked like footballs. A week ago the shore lines were littered with shad. Ice fishing was the worst ever

The fish up toward Bismarck are markedly chunkier than they have been the last many years...cleaned a couple 17-18" males today that I would have sworn were females.

Only a few. Some fish were caught the night before and they are fat and stuffed full of shad
