    12 or 20 gauge for pheasants?

    12 ga with 3 inch #2 steel. I know that sounds like overkill on early season roosters, but that combo patterns well in my gun so I stick with it. I just have to let those close birds get a bit more...not so close.

    Got up at 6am, shaved my tongue, popped a few Tylenol with my orange juice, and went to work. Home now, feeling human again, and had a fair to midlin kind of day. Going to have some supper, a shower, catch a few zzz's, and hit'er again tomorrow. How was your day Mort????
