What follows are driving directions and infrastructure information on the state’s managed waters, plus fish population remarks for the majority of North Dakota’s fisheries.
The number in parenthesis that follows each fishery is simply a code used by biologists to help identify those waters. The codes are also found on the maps to help readers locate waters in which they are interested.
The fishery outlooks provided by Game and Fish Department district fisheries supervisors are not all-inclusive reports, but rather peeks into each water’s fish populations to help frame angler expectations. With a record number of lakes scattered across North Dakota, fisheries biologists have yet to conduct thorough population assessments on many of the waters.
Any changes and updates on managed lakes appear on the Game and Fish Department’s website.
Most state public fishing waters have boat ramps. Lakes or rivers where no ramp exists are listed as “no ramp.” Check signs at each area for further restrictions.

Nothing but white people in those boats. Blatant racism. Thier not even trying to hide it anymore.

And there goes the rest of the little hot spots around the state. I used to fish a great little walleye and perch lake that I found looking at stocking reports. The next year the lake was highlighted in this. 100 pickups the whole next winter. Let's just say there is not many fish left in there.

They did drop the daily limits for perch, bluegill, and crappie kickemup as far as providing information to help those who don't come to rape and pillage our states resources. Unless they can't read then will be safe from unneeded prying eyes.

Possession limit, not daily

Vollmer,

Could you put a big tack in this one to keep it at the top of the page?

Thanks
Cliff

Every lake they stock successfully is on this and has been for years nothing new here! What do you expect them to stock and try and keep it secret?

Guess who knows where some of the rearing ponds/sloughs/ lakes are... It is amazing to watch the milking.

When it comes to sconis bringing home 40 instead of 80 is huge difference

Agreed but nobody patrols and catches them. Checkpoints on hwy 2, hwy 20, and hwy 281 would yield large numbers of tickets and revenues for the NDGF. The NDGF would never do this though because they only care about bringing in more fisherman not penalizing law breakers.

Yes I agree with your analogy on sconism with pertaining to the blind eye that some have been prone to in the past. I have another more promising out look to the sconis pandemic, some sconis will lose interest to drive many miles only to bring home 40 fish because not all such sconis rape and pillage such wonderful barracuda type assasins we call perch.

Yeah right up to the point they just bring coolers with so they can ship them out mid trip which is done allot in hunting situationseason and is perfectly legal.

If this drought lasts a couple years many of the lakes on there will be in trouble so might as well go catch fish while we can!

I know someone is going to give me bad rep for this so F.Y. in advance!

I find it weird that they don't have Neuwsma Lake (Dam) on the list. There is a nice little sign near the boat ramp that says that it is a joint project between the NDGF and the USFWS.

http://www.lake-link.com/lakes/lake.cfm/5997/535/Nieuwsma-Dam-Emmons-County-North-Dakota/

Are there fish in it? Lakes are dropped from the list all the time but normally it's because of it being unsuitable for fish.

I've personally caught some crappies and northerns out of it 2 years ago. Didn't target the trout that's suppose to be in there and didn't catch any walleye either.
