I have a 1999 Monark 190 King Viper with Yamaha V-Max 150. It’s been a great boat. My wife likes it because it’s fairly deep and she feels pretty safe in it.

I run a 2016 Yar-Craft 2095BTX with a 200 Verado. By far my favorite boat I have ever owned. It seems to handle the water very well, back trolls like a dream, and has tons of space. IMG_boat.jpg

First boat at the age of 50 was a 16 ft Lund with a 40 Johnson tiller. Had that for 3 years. Next 1850 Lund Tyee with a 175 Merc. Had that for 7 years then got a NON sparkly 1860 Angler with a 175 e-tec which I had for 7 years. Now we have an 1850 Reata with a 150 Yamaha. This will be our 5th summer on it. Very little sparkles on it. Has a great ride but is NOT a speed boat.

Proud owner of a 2003 RANGER 620 VS. I've only had since last July. It has Yamaha 225 VMax and a 9.9 kicker with troll master. Took it out yesterday for the first time this year. It is a very heavy boat, and handles 2 footers like its calm. I can't get it over 50 mph, but that's fast enough for me.

Just an old 620, but it still manages to catch me some fish now and then.

How does the ride compare between the 1850 tyee and the reata?
