it depends on how good of a negotiator you are lol. there are also individuals that have serious money that can afford to have their own disposals drilled. They then operate them just like a business. $1.50-2.00 a barrel they can reap. But they cost a couple million or so to drill and set up.

Eye , How much pressure build at the disposal you work with ? Do they use triplex pumps or can they get by with centrifugal pumps ? It wouldn't take much of a rig to drill 5000' . I still get the itch once in a while but I know better.

I have been approached about drilling one, It would not be a public disposal, just piped in from wells on my property and around area, they are saying about 15k bbls a day. All from one oil company.

about 3500 pounds I think. tri-plex pumps. A re-entry rig could drill it.

We made improvements to one of our disposals last summer. Was supposed to take it from 5500 a day to 15,000. Have had nothing but trouble with the new pumps and have yet to put more than 5000 down since then lol. what a quagmire.
