Appendix decided to put a kibosh on my hunting and fishing

Last Friday night/ Saturday morning I decided to have the worst night of sleep I've ever had... sometime after the 8th hour I decided I should probably go to the hospital and I'm glad I did because I got a really expensive ride to Bismarck from garrison to have my appendix removed which from my understanding was nearing the burst point (probably why I was shaking uncontrollably)... so how was your weekend? Lol. Any how my next couple of weeks will be hunt fish free and I'm already getting the shakes from that

Went through that in high school. When my friends found out laughing caused me severe pain they still around telling jokes. What are friends for right?

I can't believe the small incisions some people have these days. I asked my doctor if it was really necessary to get his head in there. He didn't smile when I asked what kind of axe he used.

The one he took my appendix out wasn't a small one... it's a 3" hole on my left side because I guess I grow big things including an appendix... it was laparoscopic so the other 2 holes are small

Mine was taken out about 7 years ago and i decided to wait about 3 days to go into the hospital. At that point gangrene had already set in. The doc told me i was lucky to be alive

Yeah, I am a stone maker myself. I can't imagine being shot or having a knife stuck into you would feel any worse. One of the damn things got stuck between my kidney and bladder. After a month of pissing blood Trinity finally figured out I had a stone stuck. I had surgery to get it removed. Doc told me it was not that bad, a in and out type of deal. He forgot to mention that for the next couple of weeks it is going to feel like your dick is a flame thrower when you take a piss. After about 10 days I was feeling a bit better so I went goose hunting. Bad idea. After setting out a couple hundred decoys I could barely get out of the ground blind.

Also - don't show anyone your stitches at O'Kelly's. They'll ask you to leave cuz of the sexiness involved.

I just went through the same thing 2 weeks ago, 2 days before the family vacation. I also waited longer than I should have. The doc told me he couldn't believe I wasn't in pain for at least a week with how bad mine was. The hole they pulled mine through actually tore and stretched. That's is what they told me when I asked why the hell the left side hole hurt so much more. I actually got 4 holes for mine also. The 4th hole was what they used to wrap about 12" of drain line internally to me.

Been there, done that. After it passed it was immediate relief. Then when they gave me the stainer to piss through so I could catch the stone and have it analyzed I was pretty sure there was no way a stone that caused that much pain was going to pass through the swizzle stick without further pain. Could not believe the size when it showed up in the strainer a day or two later. I thought "WTH, how did that little piece of sand cause that much pain?" Didn't even feel it when I urinated.

They do hurt like hell while they pass down the ureter. My first one I thought I was having a heart attack.
