It's amazing how fast birds grow and mature . There was a good hatch of martins this year that took to the sky quite a while ago , it's like one day they standing on the ledge molting and ugly and a couple days later they were flying.

Yes it is amazing. We have 4 hatches of ducks. The oldest ones are probably 6 or more weeks old. There is 6. The next hatch is a little smaller with 11. Then 8 and then 4 which are the smallest hatch. They are a terrible time waster but sure fun to watch.
Now 3 showed up this morning without a hen. Go figure.
