Very sad deal prayers to the family. That is a bad lake to be on in the dark.

You just know there will be a civil suit, if not a criminal one, so that the insurance companies can settle the 'negligent' medical expenses against the registered owner.

Keep the boat landed unless you know what you're doing, when you're doing it, and if you're involving alcohol.

I can't even imagine how fast they must have been going to cause damage like that! The front of that thing is curled up like a soda can, and that is some tough aluminum up in the bow.

Where was this exactly?it's obviously on shore which would be why anyone is alive. If that happened on water, it's probable nobody would've been found til Sunday

I'd sure hate to be the boat owner/driver and the owner of the bar they'd just left on the lake. Prayers go out to the families. A fun night out should never end as a tragedy.

One of the gals I work with had a relative on the boat. Some pretty serious injuries for those that survived. Thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. Definitely not a good lake to be on after dark no matter how much you think you know about it.

Boating at night at what looks like full speed was a bad idea, here's hoping the survivors make it out okay.
I had a collision with another boat years ago in the daylight, put a big gouge in my boat and a bit of minor damage to the boat I hit. Was scary as hell and we were going about 15mph, this boat had to be at full throttle.

Not a good deal. Sounds like the three injured are in critical condition. I could see even moving 25mph could have caused this much damage.
