Just found out my favorite propellant is 80 bucks for 8 oz now. Haven't shot my muzzleloaders for awhile. I guess that's what happens when you wait 11 years for a tag.

Have you found some locally? I'd like to buy some while it's still under $1000/8oz.

I found out that CVA makes a special breech plug that you can get to shoot Blackhorn 209 in their Wolf muzzleloader. Problem is, they don't make one for 2011 and older Wolf rifles like mine. I don't recall ever having a misfire when I was using Blackhorn before.

I think I paid a hundred and fifty from Cabela's for my CVA Wolf 12 years ago. They're 300 now according to CVA's website.
