FWIW She told me $150 something a year for 250,000 Liability 250 deductible @ $ 4300. That's the same I was paying for the Sea Ray Cabin cruiser that was valued at $ 15,000. So now my question is if fishing boat insurance is more expensive than pleasure boat insurance. I'm not bellyaching about the $ 150 per year but cover the equipment for what it sells for not some computer program. Pretty sure I'll be telling them to go fly a kite if they can't come up with anything better than that and I will have all my vehicle insurance under one roof , Just as their slogan suggests.

Good idea.....send your business out of state. If you live in a small town give all of the local agents a chance first. Were the ones that pay for the Tshirt when your kids go to state bball and every other event that happens in your small town !!

I spend as much locally as I can but I'm not willing to settle for what I feel is poor insurance coverage on my property, I'd rather just cover with liability and take my chances. I got two quotes locally and One from Bob Luellen , I am amazed at the spread between the three quotes. FWIW my first quote from my vehicle insurance agent looks to be the best bang for my buck but they are are lower on the boat value than what I'd like to be. If you sell boat insurance I would certainly entertain a quote from you, PM me if you'd like and I'll send you the information. Any other insurance agents on here are welcome too if you feel you have a competitive quote.
