I usually camp around the east end but was thinking of taking a week long trip maybe Deepwater or mosset area doesn't matter which side of the lake. Don't need any hookups just want a place close enuf to see the water. Any ideas would be appreciated

Deepwater has great fishing but the facilities are pretty poor. I would recommend either Parshall Bay or Van Hook.

I have heard Parshall Bay is good place to go. I have never been there, usually we have done Van Hook.

Mosset doesn't have anything for hookups so you have to be prepared for that. McKenzie on the other side has hookups or you can go out on your own. If you're pretty well contained both places would be fine. I would choose McKenzie, much better options for wind protection and the like.
