My oldest daughter bought us one for Christmas, used it once on a roast, potato's, carrots, and mushrooms. Was a great meal, however not a real difference between that and a crockpot IMHO

Cooking with steam speeds the crockpot method up considerably.

My Brother in Law and I each did a can cooker for a family get together.....both were excellent.
