I used to play whist, smear, pinochle and cribbage but these days its primarily pinochle. Some relatives introduced me what they called "crazy cribbage" a couple years back, is a 4 person game with 2 teams of 2.....you cribbage fans should give that a try. I dig it.

Learned how to play phase 10, but it's been years since I have played. Now it is smear, hand and foot or jokers (marbles)

Have played whist, pinnacle and a couple others, but that's when I'm not playing with family.

We played 4 and 6 with a 3 track board when I was a kid, lots of other games too. Kinda wish video games never were invented.

I remember the two hand version of Spades after a couple beers or two. The deck is shuffled and you either keep or discard cards until you get a hand. At the start of the play you draw for high card to determine who draws first. Good time killer, good fun. Sandbag me all you want and I'll set your ass.

Over the weekend my folks game up for my youngest's baptism. We got to play a bit of smear (10 point). Well we were at 50-51 so bidders go out. My Father and nephew we on a team against me and my brother-in-law. Dad bids 7 on A, K, Q. I opened up my hand and couldn't believe it. I Bid 8.

My brother inlaw pulls the A out of the bottom and I pulled the 3. All 10!!!! nice victory :) Had to take a pic

Usually either 31 or Pit. We used to play pit all the time but now theres usually a little one sleeping or trying to sleep so we choose a game a little quieter. Occasionally will break out scattergories as well.

I haven't counted it up, but do most people play 2 points for a turned J?
