Changing Vehicle color and title

I am tuning up my Suzuki with tracks this summer. The paint is shot. So I want to paint her up like the A-Team van. Problem is it's a different color than the original. Has anyone changed their vehicles color? I'm wondering about the proper pathway of registration.

I am guessing there are a lot of vehicles out there with the wrong color on the title.
