Why is it taking so long? Lottery closed like 85 hours ago and I still haven't heard anything about the status of my application.

My understanding is they're trying to figure out how to let everyone know that the deer tag has now become a once in a lifetime event, similar to the elk tag.

Shut the front door. Now you've got me all ginned up. Haven't been this anxious since waiting on paternity results.

The Ndgf likes to wait till the bucks horns get all growed up before issuing tags.

Buddy checked his and it says he has 0 preference points. Mine says I have 2 preference points for 2015. Anybody hearing any news? I bought 2 new rifles for deer season. I have no problem with tagging a doe, just don't want to be skunked.

Late July early august is what ndgf site says. So that means first week in September.
