Just thinking; I'd like to get back to Myrtle Beach and just surf cast Husky Jerks and TR worms. When I was able to be there I was either concentrated on LMB or illegal shark off piers at night. Often thought of a lighted slip float robust enough to keep 1/2lb croaker/whiting afloat for shark...shoulda. coulda, woulda.

Been to Alaska twice. Once with son for an archery moose hunt--got cut short cuz of 9/11
(no private aircraft to fly) and once with the wife for a very pleasant get-a-way...stayed at a remote bed and breakfast just outside of Sedona/Sterling with a rented car from the Anchorage airport--traveled around quite a bit of lower Alaska.
Note:
Tried to book a whole or half-day charter fishing trip for halibut/cod, but they were all booked. Need to book in advance.
Both trips where great, and I'd do them again in a heartbeat!

Idk, Rambo likes when you put the food right on his tongue. No tourists cuz of the rain and washed out road, so I got to spend alot of time with Rambo and Rachel

I'm totally in love with the queenfish and spotted pompano. Those were the main two. Did you happen to get the GT on topwater?

FUN FACT: GT will change sex based on situation and leave themselves open to ridicule. :p

If you missed out with the GT topwater; there's always rooster fish in Central/South America. Vicarious fishing is almost as good as DYI:(.

That Queen was a truly rare catch, and a trophy size as well. I never expected to see one in real life, much less catch a trophy. Unfortunately there's no fiberglass replica blanks available for this species.

No, unfortunately the surf rolls in faster than I can retrieve a lure, so no saltwater surface action....I did get some Tigerfish on topwater

Did you eat the Spanish macks? I was always told they were shark bait or cat food until a friend of a friend in Florida made sashimi when we caught a few. The only way to describe them was they tasted like the ocean in a good way.

Also that hippo strolling down the street is terrifying. Great pics!
