I called up there on Sunday looking for an exercise band for archers. The guy who answered the phone told me to go to Scheels. Hahahahahaha!

They carry bows but they don't tune them. What about these people who are just starting out in archery and don't know anything about it like I did? I don't think they even have a bow press so they probably wouldn't be able to adjust your draw length. Pretty worthless store if you ask me.

Got a very good deal on a set of clubs at a Dicks in Minneapolis. Have been into and out of the one in Bismarck a few times. Bought a pair of gloves I think. Not much there for me.

I would love me a Fleet Farm.

The thing is, these companies are dropping their affiliation with the NRA. I get it. And they think by doing so, they'll attract more business. "See? Look at us - we're making a stand!".

The silly part is, some liberal snowflake isn't going to go in there and buy fishing gear, or a bow anyhow.

Maybe some yoga pants I suppose.

But by being so brave, and taking a stand, they've completely flipped the bird at nearly all outdoorsmen.

They are a sporting goods store not an outdoor store. No loss, I never shop there anyway cuz I don’t play sports.

Wal-mart announced today that they won't be selling guns or ammo to anyone under 21. A guy may want to stop at Dicks and see if they have any deals when Wal-mar quit selling AR's a couple years they and put what they had in stock all on clearance I picked up a a Colt, a Sig, and a DPMS all for less than 1/2 of the original price, their loss was my gain.

I had read somewhere that dicks had already removed AR's prior to this, and that the AR's were going to be removed from the field and stream stores now

I get a kick out of them calling these rifles "Assault Rifles" Mine have never assaulted anyone. Has yours?
Got into it this last week when at a Doctors office. He was all gung-ho about banning them and i said they are just a style of rifle as any semi auto rifle will do the same thing. He carried on for a minute or so and i told him mine haven't harmed anyone so are they defective? He gave me a strange look!
I said what needs to be done is parents have to start parenting and quit trying to be their kids "best friend"! Our Country has been led down the shit chute and these stinking liberals can't see the forest for the trees. For Pete's sake use some common sense people. I also said to the Doc, my Dad used to say the more education a person gets the dumber they get. Seems to be more true today as so many lose their common sense!
OK my rant is over, carry on.

If President Trump actually goes down this road of pandering to emotion instead of using logic and tries banning any kind of firearm, he will have made his first BIG mistake. A large portion of his voting base is Constitution loving folks who believe in freedom and the 2nd Amendment. He will LOSE a bunch of votes in 3 years if he continues with this foolishness. We shall see.

You can be sure that his opponent will be worse. If we abandon Trump you can be sure that we will have 8 years of someone like Obama. That is not worth it just to make a statement to Trump!

You know what one difference is between me, and the liberals? One of many, of course?

If I disagree with something Trump does, and I won't agree with further gun control, he is still my president.

I get a kick out of the jerks who go around hollering about how he's not their president, and now they're hollering "Mr President, you better do something".

Heck, I don't even hunt, but I like shooting, and I have guns.

One tiny little part of me, almost thinks it would be good to have a shit-ton of new gun laws, and when everybody sees that it doesn't help one little bit, or even makes it worse, they'll finally get it through their heads that the guns are not the problem.

Of course, like nearly every single freedom we've ever lost, we'll never get it back.
