Does anyone use the Doc Sonar mapping chips? I am interested in a few different areas but mainly Oahe. Unfortunately I have Humminbird stuff so I'd either have to pick up a Lowrance HDS unit or find a way to view them via a PC app. Does anyone know if Lowrance has a PC app that I could view the chips with? I am more interested in viewing them and adding waypoints. I'd guess if they did have a PC app, making waypoints and then exporting to GPX files shouldn't be that hard. I emailed him directly, but it would not go to his contact address. Trying through FB as well.

For those who are using them with their HDS units, how do you like them?

Warren Parsons does a lot of the mapping of lakes for Doc. Google him and he may be able to help you.

I like them for Devils Lake areas. You could get into an older HDS Gen2 Map only unit for not too much if you check eBay.
