In case someone is interested. This is my review of my truck after 1 year of ownership.
I bought a 2015 Ford F150 with 3.5 liter Ecoboost about 1 year ago.
  • Good power for pulling my 18.5’ glass boat. I usually lock it out of 6[SUP]th[/SUP] gear when pulling because it doesn’t stay there very long.
  • Pulled smallish 5[SUP]th[/SUP] wheel and boat together twice. Good power but the truck felt “light”.
  • Really like how quiet it is flying down the highway.
  • I trimmed 4 inches off the antenna so it didn’t hit the garage door entrance.
  • The reverse camera is amazing for backing up to the boat.
  • The safety chain slots are difficult to get the hooks into but might be like that to prevent them from falling out easily. I am getting used to them.
  • The glove box is cheaply designed. It literally is open ¼ inch all the time. I need to ask if that is normal the next time I go in for service.
  • The heated external mirrors are handy.
  • The driver side rear door needs to be slammed harder than all others to close completely. Need to see if there is any adjustment.
  • I have 9K miles on it and no repairs yet.
  • Last I checked I get about 20 mpg driving empty, around 10mpg when pulling.
  • Easy to change the oil and filter myself.
  • Glad I have the 6.5 ft box.
  • Overall I like it.

6.5' box should be mandatory. don't understand dealers who have long and shorts but no 6.5s on the lot. insane.

Great review sluggo...I've got a 2014 F150 with the 5.0. Great truck...no complaints...when not pulling the boat it gets about 18 mpg on the highway...good truck for the price.

Never mind, didn't read close enough the 1st time.

Glad you're happy with your rig.

Pretty good for a Ford;):;:
I have Dodge trucks, some old Fords and two of my best friends Fords and one has Chevy and even a Toyota in the bunch. They are all good trucks and I am glad to hear you are having good luck and enjoying yours.
On your rear door if you are told there is no adjustments I do have a little trick I have done in the past.

Ive had my 2015 F150 with the 5.0 for exactly a year now too and its awesome. Super smooth quiet ride, 11-15 mpg towing a 19' fiberglass skeeter, 15 mpg in town, 19-24 mpg on highway, the wind really affects the mpg since its such a light truck. All kinds of room.

Only complaints are the remote start only has about a 50 foot range, and in tow/haul mode it seems to downshift hard when braking from highway speeds.

Yes, mine does the same downshift thing. Sounds bad, doesn't it? I assume it is OK. I try to slow down sooner to prevent that some.
Mine didn't have a factory remote starter but had a Compustar installed recently and love it.

Bought my F150 new in August 2010, have 71,000 on it and all I've done to it so far is a new battery and tires. (knock on wood)

V8, 19 MPG highway, 12.5 in town and while towing the boat.

Super happy with it. Had 3 previous Ford Explorers, and am very happy going to a quad-cab. Will always have a truck from here on out.

I'm a little nervous about the turbos going out eventually since they are very expensive to replace. Had 1 guy that thought he was in the know telling me that they won't make it past 70K. I guess we'll see. If I would have been convinced that the V8 5.0 would have had the pulling power (torque) my 3.5 eco has I would have went that route but I wasn't convinced at the time.

I have a 5.0. I will honestly tell you it will not pull like your eco. the eco is a animal. But for what i need and have planned the 5.0 is the better option

Agree completely...pulling a small aluminum boat or small camper, the 5.0 can handle with ease.

Your friend is high! There is nothing to go wrong with turbos. Diesels run em for hundreds of thousands of miles!

For what its worth, I have a buddy that has a 2013 with around 90k on his and no issues. He pulls a boat and a 5th wheel with it and runs it as his daily driver.

Please explain. I have a 2010 F15 and this literally just happened to me yesterday for the first time. Didn't matter how hard I slammed the back driver-side door, and it still said it was open. Drove me nuts. I don't know how I finally got it to "shut." This morning I sprayed some WD-40 on it (stupid, I know in this cold, but it's all I had) and it seemed to maybe help. We'll see for how long.
