I'm kind of in the market for a new truck (first time)...did you guys buy in ND or did you find better deals elsewhere?

Have I got a story for you :) Suffice it to say I tried to buy from Eide but it didn't work out as they just couldn't get what I wanted at the time because I was looking for a close out model. I ended up buying from Houston Ford in Pine River MN. Never heard of them before I started looking but from my first contact to the purchase, they never wasted my time and were very responsive. I was very impressed with their professionalism. I plan on having my service work done at Eide (if anything ever breaks) and I have had to contact them a couple times and they were very helpful.

Price wise they were very similar.

I bought mine from Luther Family Ford in Fargo. Tony Mosey was the salesman. Called them and he cut me a deal that beat Eide and Barth over the phone. Gave me more for my trade and had a cheaper pickup (and exactly what I wanted) than either in bismarck. I would definitely work with them again.

Not a ford but I saved 7k on a Chevy diesel even after a 1200 delivery charge buying in Alabama, vs buying anywhere in and SD mt mn nd, puklich tried hard but didn't have what I wanted, Kipper must sell enough overpriced trucks because they didn't even come close to puklich or even put much effort into it. I went on autotrader Joe dirt style and browsed what I wanted some places show a price but you need to meet tons of stipulations, a lot of them though have great deals way better than the bullshit prices most of the dealers around here have. Its kind of like deer hunting put in your time and look around a lot of them will deliver for free.

i ordered my 17' ford raptor in the beginning of August and still waiting for it. it's got the new ecoboost and can't wait. Nothing but good things in my experience with the Eco it will be my third trick with that engine and between my first two have over 120k combined and haven't done anything but change oil.

I was totally impressed with my f-150 in snow today , I drove through deeper snow than I ever have in my life getting out of my yard. I just idled through and she started "walking" and grabbing traction as needed and pushing snow with the grill. There is no way in heck any of my 3/4 ton Chevys would have done that. The snow was fluffy and I have a topper and a lot of weight in the back plus a full tank of gas but I have never pushed snow like that ever.

I own both Chevy far superior in corners at high speeds. And Off road ford is basically a nice riding tow friendly grocery getter. My only problem with ford at 30k milescthey had to recalibrate turbos. Sure glad that was under warranty. I did pull my total overall 33ft camper 8k lbs with no issues. The turbos went out in the cities after an accel. Computer reset them after 5 minutes

PS repairvwise fordvwins by a mile. Chevy is a pos Obama and bush fault for not letting them file. If they would of filed they would or somebody would of had a better product.

Davy I will outrun gun that ford in snow with any newer Chevy. The rear diff is light years above ford

Please explain. I have a 2010 F15 and this literally just happened to me yesterday for the first time. Didn't matter how hard I slammed the back driver-side door, and it still said it was open. Drove me nuts. I don't know how I finally got it to "shut." This morning I sprayed some WD-40 on it (stupid, I know in this cold, but it's all I had) and it seemed to maybe help. We'll see for how long.
There is a broken wire in the wire loom that goes into the door. I just fixed my co workers' 2013 150 and all is well now.

I have a 14 F150. I bought it from Eide in Feb of 15 when the new body styles were allready out. I feel I got a pretty good deal as it has the Waldoc package and was 10g below msrp. Ive got 40k on it with out a problem. Well the chrome on the rims from Waldoc peeled but they replaced them under warenty. I pulled a 30ft fifth wheel all over the country this summer and pulled my boat and camper to Sak a couple times. More than enough power.

In still trying to form a opinion on snow. Going threw drifts or moving forward it doesnt have a problem at all. Turning the back end breaks loose very easy. Not sure if its the tires 13in wide Cooper Zeon, the jumpyness of the turbos or just the comparison of driving a Navigator (tank with leather) and then the truck.

Ford sucks
Chevy sucks
Dodge sucks
They all suck unless you own one haha. Except for Raptors they are good, but they are not bullet proof either
