I think Mandy looks better muz. But you look good for 3 kids also they are tough on a guy. We miss you in the group but kurt did take me to some good shed spots today.

Lmfao. Send my love to the group

Right now I feel how dusty usually looks in the morn. I tried to drink Mexico dry of tequila yesterday.

Up at 5 this morn hit weights and cardio for a combined 80 minutes. I could feel the vacation toxins exiting the temple.

couple of things... guy, i like the new avatar. the treadmill is the dumbest invention ever. my wife and teenager begged me for one for 2-3 years. i wasn't interested in a $2000 clothes hanger. so, i explained that if they showed me that they were willing to actually walk or run outside 3 times/week for 2 months, i would buy one. for some reason, they resisted. go figure.

One week update. Crushed the gym again this AM. Stepped on scale and down to 214lbs. Hope to see 200 in 5-6 weeks. Already the most trim I've been in about 9 years.

So ever since this thread showed up all I have done is feel bad about myself and say I need to get out and walk, watch what I eat...."oh look a donut." "mmmm cake" "nachos my favorite" "yes, I would love Pizza Ranch Buffet."

So with that after week 1 I have failed, but I did cut back on beer intake and drink wine instead.

I should really keep up with this thread. It is time for me to get back at it. Going into winter 2015/2016 I was at the gym 5 days a week. Come december 2015 we buy a dog. Get out of the habit of getting up at 4:45 due to being up half the night potty training said dog. Come late winter 2016 I'm back at it 3-4 times a week. Come mid/late summer 2016 my wife's baby bump is in the way on the treadmill and she starts not wanting to get up that early which in turn means there is no way in hell I'm getting up. October rolls around and the little guy shows up which puts and immediate end to sleep so even though I am most likely up early enough to get to the gym I'm usually changing a diaper and rocking a pissed off baby. Now that life has kind of settled down its time to get back in shape. I'm 6' and about 180 (pure fluff). I'm ideally in the 165-170 range. Here's to getting my shit together and burning off these man boobs.

Threads like this can really help a person get motivated.

I was in super good shape in college and then let my self slide for a few years. It sounds corny but we are all here typing on the internet so not that corny but I started following a lot of people on instagram and facebook that are always working out. When I get up at 4:30 some days it seems impossible to get up but then I check instagram and its loaded with pics and videos of people working out and cam hanes doing his crazy shit and I get out of bed and kill it.

its truly a lifestyle to be in shape. Once you get it to be an everyday part of your life it becomes a lot easier. When it is a priority and you plan all your other activities around it instead of planning your work out around all your other activites is when u see gains.

Oh and I went on a high country elk hunt in CO when I was out of shape. That gave me the motivation I need to keep hammering.

a group of buddies started a weight loss contest monday. so, far so good for me. the money on the line and the group aspect was just what i needed to light a fire under my ass. although i had already sort of started about 5 weeks ago. down 20 pounds since my all time high at that time. but, down nearly 8 already since monday. feels good to finally be addressing this problem.
