What do you guys do for snacks on the boat? I've seen some guys with grills attached to the side of their boat.

I generally pack a cooler with a few sammiches, and drinks, but it gets old.

Thanks for any ideas.

Jerkey, sandwiches, waters, beers. Depends on the trip. Out on the river after work I just grab a bottle of water and head out. All day up at the big lake, see previous list.

Depends on who is going. If it's just me I'll just swing in the gas station and grab some munchies.

If it's the family we like to get fried chicken from the grocery store or KFC(it's good cold), grapes, juice boxes for the kids, water/drink of choice for the adults, crackers and cheese and sunflower seeds. Sometimes we'll substitute sandwiches for the chicken and we'll often take those little bell peppers, carrots and ranch. Just depends on how we're (this kids) are feeling that day.

Seems like we usually pack way more than we'd eat in a day or two but it's nice to have for the kids so they don't get grumpy.

Loads and loads of sandwiches when it;s me and the boys. If I don't bring enough food those 2 would start eating the carpet. Bottles juices/water. Jerky, apples, and chips are usually in there as well.

Jerky, seeds, water, beer, cheese and meat in zip lock bags, crackers, grapes, and granola bars. Fairly standard stash, unless it's a quick trip

If it is just me in the boat I normally don't bring anything. If the kids are with every thing in the kitchen seems to end up coming with.

If it's a all day trip Pepper Sticks, Jerky, Chips, Seeds, and drinks. If it's just a morning or evening its usually seeds and something to drink.

Any reason for the non chocolate? I am also a non chocolate guy for digestive reasons.

FYI, if you allow sunflower seeds in the boat, you should check your bilge pump area once in a while. Same goes for paper worm bedding. Nothing plugs a bilge pump faster, except maybe tree seeds and leaves.

PB and J for me. My daughter thinks that cheese puffs are great boat food. Dang those things make a mess. It gets her out so that is all that matters. She is 5 and can be in the boat for 4 hours, before I hear some complaining. If the water is warm a little 10 minute swim for her off the boat and she is ready for a few more hours.

This will be my second year in my restored 1980s 28' Sea Ray. We stock the cupboards freezer and fridge with goodies just like you would a camper and have a cook top in the galley and a grill out on the rear deck. We go a few days at a time and do most of our cooking and make coffee at the slip and snack during the day. It's hard to make myself cook when you can eat at the casino for about 5 bucks. Usually get a menu and eat the days they serve something good and cook the other times. It's comfortable and affordable and I catch just as many fish in that boat as I did in my fishing boat. Last year the Lund didn't even get wet.
