Not ashamed to say I pulled my own pork today.
Looks awesome as fuck. Thankfully I get to play with BBQ tonight. Got a catering thing in Minot tonight so all da meats. Enjoy your pork pullin

Damn. Does your husband weigh 400lbs? I would and we'd probably have trouble with the grocery bill. I've gained 5 just from looking through this thread. Is that bacon grease on the asparagus?

Green beans, garlic and unsalted butter lol and no, hes 235m. Balance is key in all things, even pasta and butter😂

Oh...fancy!

I learned this down South. I promise it's good if you ever deign to use canned green beans:

Dump the beans in a pot, add bacon and butter to taste--make sure the beans are fully submerged.

Cover until water begins to boil. Remove lid and boil until the pot is near damn dry. Stir enough to prevent scorching. I discard the bacon as it will look like cadaver skin and retains zero taste.

The end product will look like your above. I ASSume it's a much longer process if you start raw.

Bacon and butter beans aren't time consuming. Im not a fan of canned beans, I like the fresh crunch. But I don't knock can or frozen veggies in this state. The winter sucks for produce.
