Have any of you frozen the leftovers after a fish fry ? how does it turn out ?
I have done it. Best to reheat is a air fryer or oil fryer i have foundHave any of you frozen the leftovers after a fish fry ? how does it turn out ?
X 2 but not at the fortNever had leftovers from any fish fry at Ft KDM. Any fish not immediately consumed upon removal from the grease is fought over by the fish fry participants in the "Cold Fish Octagon" ie, the kitchen, like rabid, unrepentant gladiators clawing their way from the brink of starvation. A fish fry here is a "bring your own tupperware" type of gathering and the rules are well understood. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
I cant eat fish the next day it get to soggy even in the air fryer. Never really have to worry about it though when my kid is around he eats it all
I have tried them all we use the Louisiana brand the most its a dry one. I have eaten it the next day out of principle im not going to throw it away but i didnt like it.Beer batter?
Dry coated works pretty well, IMHO. But I can sure see where beer batter style fish wouldn't be as good the next day.
You mean make your own Fish Sticks?Have any of you frozen the leftovers after a fish fry ? how does it turn out ?
Yes , catch ,clean and cook the whole batch at the time. Or at least cook a few meals worth and freeze. I like fish two or 3 times a week but not necessarily the mess that often. I have some frozen now so will see how they taste after they are re-heated. If nothing else Iv'e heard fish tacos are good. You mean make your own Fish Sticks?
